- Shrubs: These are those plants that have branches near the bottom of the stem. This stem is hard but not thick.
- Trees: These are those plants that are taller in size and have a hard and thick stem. The upper part of the stem has branches from a high level of ground.
- Creepers: These are those plants who have weak steam and are unable to stand but spread along with the ground.

Parts of plants:
After discussing the different types of plants, we have to discuss the different parts of the plant. How they are important and details information about different parts of plants. Let’s discuss the parts of plants:
Stem: –
This is the most important part of any plant. In our surroundings, we notice every plant having different types of stems, but all plants have the same kind of work. The main work of the stem in a plant is to carry and pass the water from roots to all other parts of the plant. This also works as a storage room for plants; it stores water and other important things for plants.
Leaf: –
Leaf is the most important part of a plant. We know every plant has different types of leaves; some of them are large and some are small; some are wide, but some are not. But all leaves have some common parts and work nature; let’s discuss it.
- Petiole: The part of the leaf that is attached to the stem is called the petiole.
- Lamina: The large green part of a leaf is called the lamina.
- Veins: If you notice deeply, there are many lines like things are present in a leaf. These lines are called veins.
- Midrib: All the veins are attached to a thick line that is present in the middle of the leaf. This middle line is called the midrib.
- Leaf Venation: All the veins of the leaf are making a specific design. This design is called leaf venation.
- Reticulate: If leaf venation (design by veins) is net-like on both sides of the midrib, it is called reticulate.
- Parallel venation: In a grass leaf, we notice the lines (veins) are present parallel to each other, so these parallel lines are called parallel venation.
Transpiration: – The process in which water comes out of a leaf is called transpiration.
Photosynthesis: – The process in which leaves prepare food in the presence of sunlight and green clour, which is present in leaves by the use of air and carbon dioxide, is called photosynthesis. In this process, oxygen is given out.
Root: –
The main source of water in plants is the root. Roots get water from soil and deliver it to different parts of the plant via stems. Different plants have different root structures. Most plants have two types of root structures, which are following discussed.
- Tap root: Some plants have roots in which a thick and main root is present. This thick and main root is called tap root.
- Lateral root: There are many small roots attached to tap roots. These attached roots are called lateral roots.
- Fibrous root: Some plants don’t have a tap root only a group of roots almost similar shape and size. This group of roots is called a fibrous root.
Flower: –
In our daily lives, we saw different types of flowers around us. We notice most of them are different from shape, size, color, and other factors. But they have mostly the same parts in their shape. Let’s discuss the parts of flowers and their work on flowers.
Outer parts of flowers:
- Petals: When we look carefully at an open flower, then we see leaf life (colorful); something is present; this is the petals.
- Sepals: If you notice carefully a flower, there is a green leaf. Small things are present near the stem, which covers the flower when it is not open. This is sepals.
Inner parts of flowers:
After removing the petals and sepals, we see the inner parts of flowers.
- Stamens: This is different type, size, and structure in different flowers. This is most important for reproduction in flowers.
- Pistil: This is the innermost part of flowers. It helps in receiving pollen and fertilizer.
- Ovary: This is part of pistil. In this part of pistil, the fertilization gets complete.
